The safety and well-being of our students is our highest priority. We are pleased to implement the Standard Response Protocol (SRP) from The “I Love U Guys” Foundation, a nationally recognized framework that provides clear, action-based responses for all types of emergencies.

We chose to partner with The “I Love U Guys” Foundation because they represent the gold standard in school safety protocols. With over 50,000 schools, districts, and organizations worldwide using their programs, the Foundation has proven that their approach works. We’re joining a proven, collaborative movement that puts our students’ safety and well-being first.

We chose to implement the Standard Response Protocol (SRP) because it puts students, staff, parents, and first responders on the same page with a common vocabulary that’s easy to understand and remember. This standardized approach means our students will know what to do whether they’re in elementary school or high school, making safety protocols consistent throughout their educational journey. To view the poster posted in all of our classrooms, please visit the SRP website or click here.

The Standard Reunification Method (SRM) is our school’s comprehensive plan for safely and accountably reuniting students with their parents or guardians following a crisis or emergency. Whether it’s a fire, severe weather, power outage, or security threat, any incident that requires evacuation may necessitate a formal reunification process. The SRM provides our safety team with proven methods for planning, practicing, and executing a successful reunification that maintains accountability and chain of custody for every student.
