FaithWay Christian Academy began in the fall of 2023 as a ministry of FaithWay Baptist Church. FCA opened in August 2022 with grades 1 through 6, with preschool and additional grades added each year. Today, FCA serves students from preschool through 8th grade and is recognized as an accredited institution by the State of Indiana through the American Association of Christian Schools. FCA is also a member of the Indiana Association of Christian Schools.

The mission of FaithWay Christian Academy is to disciple students biblically through academic integrity, spiritual excellence, and leadership development to love truth and serve faithfully in their local church.

Core Values

Academic Integrity

Students will thrive in a nurturing environment where passionate, well-trained teachers inspire curiosity, spark creativity, and cultivate a deep, lasting love for learning through innovative and thoughtful instruction.

Spiritual Excellence

Our hope for every student is that they grow into Christ-like individuals, shaped by a biblical worldview that guides their thoughts, choices, and relationships. We lovingly encourage each student to walk closely with Christ, growing in faith and character, so that their lives may be a reflection of His glory in all they do.

Leadership Development

Students are given meaningful opportunities to grow in character, develop strong leadership, and gain life skills that shape who they are becoming. We believe these moments prepare them not just for success in life, but to shine as salt and light in the world—living with purpose, integrity, and impact for God’s glory.

Statement of Faith

We believe… that there is one true and living God, eternal, self-existent, infinite, and unchanging in His nature and attributes. We believe that God exists in three Persons—the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit—each fully God and equal in power and glory. These three are united in purpose in the work of creation, redemption, and the fulfillment of God’s eternal plan.

We believe… that the Bible is the revealed Word of God, fully and verbally inspired by Him and without error in the original writings. We believe the Scriptures from Genesis to Revelation are the infallible rule of faith and practice for all people. We believe that God has preserved His Word through the ages and that it is available to us today. *The ministries of FaithWay use the King James Version exclusively in our teaching and preaching.

We believe… in God the Father, the eternal and sovereign Creator of heaven and earth. He is holy, righteous, loving, and just, and He governs all things according to His perfect will. We believe that He lovingly receives all who come to Him through faith in His Son, Jesus Christ.

We believe… in Jesus Christ, the eternal Son of God, Who possesses all the attributes of Deity and is God incarnate. We believe He was born of a virgin, lived a perfect and sinless life, died on the cross as the substitutionary sacrifice for the sins of mankind, and rose bodily from the grave. We believe He ascended into heaven, is seated at the right hand of the Father, and will one day return to rule and reign.

We believe… in the Holy Spirit, the third Person of the Godhead, equal with the Father and the Son, Who convicts the world of sin, righteousness, and judgment. We believe that at salvation He regenerates, indwells, seals, and baptizes believers into the body of Christ, empowering them for holy living and service. We believe that God sovereignly gives spiritual gifts to believers for the edification of the church and that the sign gifts such as speaking in tongues and miraculous healing were temporary.

We believe… that all people are born with a sinful nature inherited from Adam and are sinners by nature and by choice. Because of sin, mankind is separated from God and incapable of saving himself. We believe that salvation is the gift of God received by grace through personal faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, resulting in the new birth and a new life in Him.

We believe… that the New Testament church is a local body of baptized believers who have been saved by grace through faith in Jesus Christ. The church exists for worship, fellowship, discipleship, and the proclamation of the Gospel to all people. We believe that Christ is the head of the church and that its mission is to carry out the Great Commission.

We believe… that the Lord Jesus Christ committed two ordinances to the church: baptism and the Lord’s Supper. We believe that baptism is the immersion of a believer in water following salvation as a public testimony of faith and obedience to Christ. We believe that the Lord’s Supper is a memorial observance that proclaims the Lord’s death until He comes.

We believe… in the personal, visible return of the Lord Jesus Christ. We believe that the church will be caught up to meet the Lord in the air and that Christ will literally return to earth to establish His kingdom and reign for one thousand years. We believe in the resurrection of the dead, the final judgment, the eternal blessing of the righteous, and the eternal punishment of the lost.
