Academics and Student Life

School Membership

FaithWay Christian Academy is a member of the Indiana Association of Christian Schools (IACS) and the American Association of Christian Schools (AACS), one of the leading organizations of Christian schools in the country.

Curriculum

In order to provide not only academic rigor rooted in Biblical principles but also materials our parents and teachers can trust, Abeka (Elementary), BJU Press (Jr. High), and Ramsey Education (Jr. High) will be the curriculum used by our students. View the scope and sequence for the Abeka curriculum here and BJU Press here. View how Ramsey Education aligns with the Indiana state standards here.

Student Life

Chapel Services

Our weekly chapel (Wednesday) is a time when students enjoy a fun activity and a challenging message. Parents and student guests are welcome to chapel but must check in with the office prior to attending.

Field Trips

Field trips are a great way for students to engage, learn, and explore outside the classroom. It’s also a great time for classroom team building. Parents and siblings are welcome to join as long as they notify the teacher beforehand.

Snack Cart

The snack cart is available during morning recess, lunch, and after school. Students have a variety of choices with prices ranging from $0.25 to $1.

Competitions

Students can participate in competitions such as spelling bee, math olympiad, science fair, art fair, and history fair.

FCA Family Night

Our entire FCA family is invited for a night of good food, engaging team-building activities, and a spirit-filled challenge for our families to persevere in their devotion to the Lord.

Award Ceremonies

Students are recognized for their exemplary Christian character every month in chapel with an “I Can” Excellence Award. At the end of the first semester (December) and the end of the school year (May), students are recognized for academic achievements.
